How we work
Daily Dispatch was founded in 2019 by journalists who wanted a Singapore-focused outlet that treats readers as informed adults. We do not publish advertorials disguised as news, we do not accept payment for coverage, and we correct errors promptly on the same page where they appeared.
Every story on this site is written or edited in-house. When we cite government releases, company filings or court documents, we link to the original source where possible. Our reporters call primary sources before publication; anonymous quotes are used sparingly and only when a subject faces genuine reprisal risk that we document internally.
We cover Singapore and the wider region because the city is a hub for trade, finance and migration. A factory policy in Johor can affect rental markets in Woodlands; a rate decision in Washington can move REIT prices here within minutes. Our regional desk in the Robinson Road office monitors those connections daily.
